Needwood Foods have come away from the Burton Albion corporate 5 a-side football tournament with the Fair Play award. The tournament pitched 16 teams from local companies and organisations against each other, split into 4 groups. The Needwood team won once and lost twice in the group stage, which was not enough to progress to the quarter finals. However, when the points awarded for fair play were added up, Needwood were the highest ranked and were presented with the award at the dinner which followed the competition. The final was won by the team representing Mr Cropper, a local engineering company.
